My friend has bought a Lethal Tank from B&M Bargans for £2.50. After I read on here about the change in the firework with the new regs I asked him to check the date, he says it has 2006 in the bottom corner!

That will meen old regs I take it? :)

And what, if anything changed in this firework, anyone know? I'm just curious. B)

Thanks.

2006 will be louder, with more of a flash, as it is a flashpoweder based effect. New regs could be anything, but probably a blackpowder burst- smaller and quieter, with more of a "pop" than a bang.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Lethal Tank is a classic Men Shun firework and is a bargain at RRP £5.99 never mind £2.50!

The new version is still noisy

Not going too far off topic but other than Lethal Tank, what other Men Shun CHEAP barrages are worth getting?

I heard B&M Bargains have the Men Shun Spy Fighter Cake on sale at £1.50.

Never had one though so not sure what they are like.

I've had Atomic Bomber which was similar to Lethal Tank. Very good.

That's so cheap £1.50!

I wish I lived near a B & M or up north for that matter!

Not many! Men Shun tend to have high RRPs. They only become great buys at 33-50% off RRP.
The mini mine pack is great value though!

My local "sells anything" store is selling Men Shun fireworks at BOGOF! So all fireworks are half price in a sense.

I got my Lethal Tanks today too! The date on the back says 2006 so I guess the effect will be slightly bigger and better as they'll be flashpowder. I got the orange and green coloured barrages. What did everyone else get and is there much variation in effects between them?

I think (if you have the old version) they just vary with the colour- the colour of the label will be the colour of the effect. Pretty basic peony bursts with reports.
