I thought that I was familiar with most Standard fireworks from the 60's, 70's & 80's but I cannot remember the Dizzle dazzle bang. What year / years do you remember it from? Could you describe the effect? Cheers.
I remember seeing it in the 80's it was a 3 tube affair like their airbomb battery's and was green and white. I cant for the life in me remember what the effects were only one that i was watching was quite loud, i just remember it as being good.

Thought this might help. I've only got a picture of one in its original bag. It is definitely from the 1980s.

Nice one Firefiend (is that another one from your collection??

Standard were the biggest consumer supplier around here (North East) but unfortunately I dont remember it. Presumably it was a roman candle / air b**b combination?

About 4 years ago I actually acquired a full shop box of the large Standard Fireworks of the type that came on plywood frames / stakes. The whole box comprised of:
Brilliant Sun - Size 25
Coloured Bouquet Roman Candle - Size 15
Devil Amongst the Tailors - Size 12
Dizzle Dazzle Bang - Size 12
Morning Sunrise - Size 20
Roulette - Size 9
Spring Magic - Size 15
Star Shell Battery - Size 9
Turbo Jet - Size 15
It was as original, complete with wood shaving packing and plastic bags - straight out of the 80s. Unfortunately these were too big for my collection, so I exchanged them with another collector. All I have now is the photographs!

I can't be absolutely certain, but looking close up at the original photo, I think it says 'Emits Streamer Cluster' to start with.
Yes - looks like "streamer" I think. Can any of the old "company" workers who frequent here shed any more light on the effect?
