Just wondering....for the peopel who wont actually be firing displays........are you going to visit any organised ones this year?

was considering going to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach show...... but wouldn't want to pay £10 entry for a company who makes so much profit in the year anyway.

Think i'll go to a local one in my hometown on saturday and then a display at Heaton Park in Manchester on bonfire night. Then have my fireworks on the 8th which is the same date as the girlfriends stepdads birthday :)

Gigantic Crab!!! has cunningly subbed out all work on the 5th to his army of mollusc minions so will actually get to watch a display for once.
Gigantic Crab!!! is a frugal creature so will not be shelling out five of your Earth pounds to spectate, but instead will be viewing from another 50 yards away from the comfort of the local pub garden.

haha thats a good strategy :)

the local display is £4 but all profits go to a local charity so it's all for good causes so i'm more than happy to pay for it.........the one in Heaton Park is free so both are good for me :)

Are you kidding? Blackpool Pleasure Beach are millions upon millions in debt! I bloody hate the place! Hahahaha, *evil laugh at BPB*.

Anyway if you are thinking of going, you can stand on the front for free and watch opposite the Big One drop, no need to give your money to them, it's the same view!

I will be doing my own display in the garden as I don't really like attending organized ones (bar a few). There is a big bonfire and fireworks display with fun fair on Victoria Park in Southport tommorow night, will be worth checking out.
