Alot of the stuff I have from Epic is from last years range so know what they do and look like however alot is also from the new 2008 range and I have no idea what order to fire it all in!

Keep thinking of which order and writing it down then watch the videos and it changes my mind everytime.

Does anyone have a good knowledge of the Epic range or be able to offer suggestions to what order to fire my fireworks in this year? Will get the list sorted in what order im at now if anyone can help!

Thanks

Have copied and pasted the spreadsheet im using. Having a lot of confusion as to what to do with the Night Visions and the Imperial Invasions and just looking for advice on whats the best order to fire them in. The ones in Red are the 2008 stuff and where theirs more than one on each line was going to fire them together.

Heavy Duty

Night Vision – Night Vision

First Dynasty

Broken Arrow

Metal Storm

Out Of Control

Six Machine

Molten Krypton

Shogun

Magneto

Yandino

Star Salute

End Of The World – End Of The World – Predator 500

Whispering Palms

Raging Bull

Screaming Spiders

Fire One

Molten Krypton – Tank Buster – Tank Buster

Ultimate Devastation

Mad Moth – Imperial Invasion – Imperial Invasion

Screaming Spiders – Thunderous Finale

Open Fire – Hercules – Hercules

The King – The King – The King

Theirs only me to fire the units so the absolute max can fire at once is 3 at a time!

Thanks for any help or advice.

They are stupidly busy at the minute so dont want to try and drag one of the main people in the know away from selling to be stuck on the phone for ages for them to have to write it all down and work out how to fire them! Have e-mailed them but waiting on a response, just concerned wont get one in time with them being as busy as they are.

personally speaking if you got pairs of things i like to light them in pairs , as for the ending id go with screaming spiders and thunderous finale fired together with the kings to fire 10 secs before the end of those 2 barrages so they burst at the same time as the others end

id personally also fire all 3 of the 500 shot barrages together to create a bit of impact as they are small caliber

it also depends how long you want the display to go on for as some of those cakes are quite long lasting ie
500shots = 2 mins
imperial invasion 2 mins 30
tank buster 90 secs

fire those 1 at once and you got 14 mins just with those cakes but fired as i said its down to 6 mins

il speak to graham for you first thing and see if he can sort you out a firing order for you

Thanks thats much appreciated. Where ive put more than one on the same line thats what im thinking of firing at once, so the 500 shot cakes theirs 3 on the same line so was going to fire all at once.

Was thinking the fire one and 2 x hercules would provide a better ending than screaming and thunderous as the others give more sky coverage. Problem ive got is the garden is very long but quite thin so getting somewhere to fire the rockets from without getting too close to the cakes going off is also quite hard!

Any advice is much appreciated though.

Length of display isnt critical just providing it gradually builds up to get more and more impressive towards the finale, starting with smaller stuff fired on its own then getting onto bigger units then stuff in pairs or 3's nearer to the end.

Many thanks of the firing order, would never have came up with half of those combinations!

Thanks again.

I used Epic's "Atomic Tornado" as a finale on bonfire night- the bursts were massive, and a decent duration too meant it "did the job" nicely.

Edit- it's actually Marvel brand, not Epic brand- still from Epic/Jimmy's of course.

I didnt get Atomic Tornado unfortunately, had to make a few compromises and that was one of them.

My Finale on bonfire night was Screaming spiders, Awaken, Hercules, Thunderous Finale with a sky thriller and The king rockets going up at same time as the last shots on the thunderous finale.

Looking back i wish i had paired the Screaming Spiders with the Thunderous Finale but all in all it was the best ending to a private firework party i and everyone who was there has ever seen. After the Screaming SPiders had started the whole neighbour hood just seemed to stop lighting theres (cheeky buggers must of been watching mine lol) so i had the whole of the sky to myself and the bangs and echoes were unbelievable.

Will definetley be getting these again for next year (possibly tweaking the firing order) along with some others.

Ultimate Devastation and Whispering palms is interesting mix let us know how they paired up and also how the tank busters and Fire one go together.

Ive fiddled around with the firing order a little, ultimate devastation seems to have varying run times and the effects dont mix with whispering palms so it would be lost so doing ultimate on its own. Still unsure about the tank busters and fire one may mix them up with other stuff yet. Using alot of whats on that firing order list just have tweaked it slightly for duration as some people are travelling quite a way and theirs alot of beer to get through lol
