I have 500grams of lead nitrate which i bought by mistake a while ago, just wondering if it can be used in pyrotechnics at all(hopefully crackling stars)? Its a fine white powder. Thanks.

DFK multiple crackles, what are they? Is it a sizzling type sound almost, as it seems to me, a continuous crackle as the stars go outward? Not just a crackle at the end of the star burn as if it was a core.

Seen shells like that in some Freak Pyromaniac videos and then finally saw one in person and they are amazing :D .

Would love to make some shells like them one day.

Is it a different formula altogether or just a different method of making the stars?
