I've been asked to make some tooling for another member, I can guesstimate fairly well but would like to know if anyone here has any diagrams of tooling?

Cheers

I have made a couple of bottle rocket tools, what sort of ID and fuel type? I have both end burner and core burner 6mm sets, and an end burner 7.5mm and 10mm set. I'll give you the dimensions if you let me know which one.
You can never have a long enough fuse...

Love the "you can never have a long enough fuze" quote, Pyromaniac303!
Who said it?
Lemme guess- Guy Fawkes?

Oh that was one of my friends after witnessing some of my early rocket failures! This is going back a few years though when I was working with rcandy propellant and hand drilling cores. Don't seem to get many failures at all now with BP rockets and spindles made on the lathe.

I have the dimensions of the 6mm rocket tool:

Rammer
Diameter = 6mm
Length = 100mm
Core = 2mm x 25mm depth

Spindle
Diameter = 1.9 mm
Length = 10mm (from tube holder to tip)
Tube holder length = 4mm (section inset into the motor tube, to support the tube during ramming)
Tube holder diameter = 6mm
Threaded section length = 10mm (for insertion into a threaded base which I use for all my home made tooling)

One thing to be careful of though, most thin visco is actually 2mm diameter and therefore won't fit your fuse hole. I have some 1/16" visco which is perfect for that size, but you may want to consider making it 2mm to be on the safe side.
You can never have a long enough fuse...

Top piece of kit.....and in usual Wolter style, supremely made!
