For the last couple of days now I have been hunting the internet for legislation regarding the production and storing of black powder. I have never been able to find anything substantial and was hoping some of you guys could help me out. Thanks.

Then chat with your local council, police and fire service and the HSE

Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

Hi pyrodave, not sure on the situation of home made BP but for commercial BP you need a acquire and keep licence from your local police firearms dept which is thankfully free at the moment, also the transportation document from the HSE(FREE AS WELL), for storage the tubs have to be in a heavy ply box with seperate compartments and the lid has to be a certain height above the tubs, the regs and box dimensions are on the net, mine allows me to hold upto 10lb of BP and blasting caps as well if i remember, not sure how much you can hold for firework purposes, where the box has to be stored is a bit of a grey area mostly down to what area you live in.
