Someone had e mailed me with a somewhat garbled story about a Fireworks Company who are sueing another company in the States for not warning them about the dangers of working with a live firework. Does anyone know any more about this (any stateside posters perhaps?) I have a feeling it might have been simply a joke that has become a bit watered down and has now been mistaken for fact- but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I'm curious to know if there is a real story behind this.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Drawing any conclusions without knowing the facts nor the circumstances should be avoided. However, I can't help thinking; "Only in America". At least here in Finland, it is a common practice for local display companies to sell products to each other whenever there is shortage in supplies because of third parts involved. Considering the level of legal practice entrenched in the US, I would not be surprised even if something like this would occur.

Indeed- as I said in my original post, I have a feeling it might simply be a joke that has got "re-arranged" a little and is being told as straight fact.
