hi ya, could anybody deliberate, how?, which what were, and formula, to make the "jumping jelly bean fountain"? its a great effect but nobody's covered it, just interested

sorry phil, there hard to explain, heres a video, its hard to see but it looks like liquid balls of colored fire, maybe they are silicone based?kim bolton jelly bean
but you really have to see the effect in person to appreciate it

I love these founatins. Always a crowd pleaser...
Don't quote me on this, but I think the propellant is NC or at least NC-based, which would account for the lack of charcoal spray/firedust and the weird chuffing sound they make. They're also choked.
Not sure about the stars themselves but I vaguely remember someone saying they were also NC-based. Not sure quite how this would work in therms of binding, colourants (chlorides?) etc... Would love to hear some input on this... Never thought about silicone...
I've only seen one fountain with a similar effect, which interestingly was choked like an organ pipe and made an even more pronounced chuffing sound.
