Hi there... I've just done a batch of black powder and I need to store it for a while. Obviously I'm not keeping it in a metal container or anything but I was wondering if it's bad for the powder if it's kept damp (to reduce the chance of it going off). Anyone got any tips?

There is no need to store your bp damp as this will cause problems in the long run and as long as you keep it in an airtight container in a safe and secure place where there are no potential sources of ignition (e.g. out of the house) there should be no problems.

However, if you live in the uk you should not be storing bp for any length of time without the necessary storage license anyway. There is plenty of information elsewhere on the forum regarding this matter
Freud. Artists, in this view, are people who may avoid neurosis and perversion by sublimating their impulses in their work.
