Although over 40, I'm just as interested in current music as the 'old stuff'. Anyway, in the last couple of years there have been a few fireworks in the following -

Ladyhawke - paris is burning (not much, she walks thru a cloud of sparks basically)

Patrick Wolf - Bluebells (a few garden fireworks let off outside the window plus a screaming rocket sample is used as percussion in the track)

BUT THE BIGGIE . . .

Feist - I feel it all - the whole video is her in a field of fireworks which start small and grow into a nice big display in time with the song, stylewise it's american acoustic pop-folk

these are all on youtube.com, it'd be interesting what you chaps think of the feist track, and yes, if anyone looks for patrick's song - yes, it's a bit camp but at 6'5" tall, that's fine by me.
you whistle it, i'll hummer it

The film Les Amants Du Pont Neuf (The lovers on the ninth bridge) contains a great deal of pyro. It is set in Paris and part of it takes place on Bastille day. There is some in the trailer here, but it contains a great deal more than this.

Much more pyro from the film in this music video. Pity the quality is not better.

Having looked at the Feist track

I'd be looking at half and one second gerbs in gold and silver and lots of stage mines two big fast fan cakes and lots more arena comets with and without tail. I'd also be looking at a very competent multi cue controller.

Where was the video shot? Anyone know? There a few people on the forum who would know who fired it if it was in the UK.

Initially I'd be looking through the Le Maitre catalogue, but there other companies that do pro stage and arena stuff too. -I wonder how many takes they shot?

Go play their site!

Audioslave - Cochise

One of my favourites, although this isn't the best rip in the world. Looks like the designer was somewhat at the mercy of the editor, but still looks great. Oh to have a brief like that!

Definitely : Iron Maiden - Rime of the Ancient Mariner !

It's one of my dreams to do a pyro show on this song
