bit of a strange one ( nothing un-usual for me !)

i'm wondering if anyone happens to have a leaflet from LAST year - asda's fireworks range.

I'm 100% they are selling the same fireworks, for DOUBLE the price.......

I will have a leaflet, but won't be able to find it!

I think there will be differences in their range.

I seem to remember Asda last year had one at £20, Thunder something, which they don't have this year (going off the scanned leaflets here).

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

a good traul on the tinterweb revealed that the one i was thinking of was "blast zone" and was 2 for £30

this year, there is one called "blast o mania" and is 2 for £40

the box last year contained many of the same items.

Ah, I see what you mean- selling what appears to be a similar selection box, or at least a selection box of similar performance, but with a different name.

At the end of the day, it's down to the customer to make his decisions.

Personally, what I think is worse is when an item's name is kept but the performance is changed.

Yeah, I'm not sure why ASDA appeals to people at all.

I could imagine you with a picket outside asda shouting 'ban supermarket fireworks! Ban TNT!'. :D
