Hey guys, my first post here :-) Big fan of fireworks but only really started doing proper garden displays last year, and have been amazed at the wide range of fantastic stuff available to the individual consumer. I remember when I was younger we used to get a small selection box and a couple of individual fireworks from the local newsagents, but it was never very impressive so we started going to organised displays instead. I'm glad I've rediscovered garden fireworks as you can't beat a good home display! This site has definitely taught me to check out proper shops and brands, though, and not stick to the supermarket ranges. I still get a fair bit from supermarkets as filler material (and I actually quite like to have a couple of those small fountains you get in selection boxes!), but I find their stuff so overpriced (witness Sainsbury's buy one get one 'free' offers) and generally not that good. Last year we somehow ended up with about 7 selection boxes, each full of unimpressive fountains that took an absolute age to get through.

Anyway, with that brief introduction out the way, my main question is have any of you guys ever fired one of Kimbolton's Plotters' Kegs? I got one from a local party shop and have been told they are excellent, but haven't found any videos of it online. I guess that'll make it all the more exciting when I actually come to fire it, though!

Yeah, you should have some fun with it- Kimbolton are a brand well know for their quality.

I fired one of these several years ago. It starts with a silver fountain followed by coloured shellbursts with bang and finishes with a mine burst.I think you will be happy with the performance providing they haven't changed it to new spec.Several Kimbolton pieces are nothing like they used to be,i tend not to use that many now which is a shame as they used to make really good fireworks.

Anyone ever fired any of the other ones? Last year I had a Mammoth Cone fountain, Enchanted Forest cake and a pack of the Rainbow Mines and was pretty impressed with all of those.
