There are a lot better fireworks out there than DRD,they have got a poor reputation, amongst most Firework Enthusiasts.

I do feel DRD get anunfair time of it. I agree there is better pyro our there but not at the pricemost of us can get the DRD stuff for. Ihave bought 2 fantasias at £19.00 each. 10 destroyer rockets at only £6.50 each and a pretty nice box offountain for just £18.00 plus lots more at similar prices. There nothing elseout there that I can buy that will match that for value.

Personally I think thebad press comes from those with a vested interest to in destroying competition. My friends and I have used this brandfor the last 3 years and have no complains. Just my opinion.

Got to chip into this! DRD are in my opinion the worst cheapest brand of fireworks I have ever had the pleasure of buying or shall I say lack of. Most of the fireworks where window dressed junk, much worse than TNT and thats saying something. For instance a cake that looked pretty large, peel back the lid and you have tubes trailing the outer edge with a large open square in the middle. Large fountains or are they? take back the cover and you have a tiny fountain in a large cylindrical or square case and even the cones are fakes made to look 10 times the size.

I have to agree the Hero’s box is an embarrassingjoke! I have purchase one of these -luckily for me at only £25 but the amountof air in the boxes is beyond a joke. Whoever in the company responsible forthe box should be fired!

However, I also got some Destroyer Rockets which at £6.00 each are the business - not the longest burst I've seen but load and big bursts. The blitz, Blizzard
and fantasia, Emma’s Rainbow and Jessica’s Dream are also perfect as long as
you get them at the trade list price.

But yes give the Hero’s box a miss :)
