The 4th addition is still at the printers. I spoke to Ron on Friday when I was at the factory and he expects it to be finished in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Once it is done I will post on the forum forthe guy's to see.
From what I have heard the 4th addition is worth waiting for... new and updated formulas and all the pictures have been done by Rons son who is an architect hence no scribbled images that will leave you guessing

My copy *appears* to be a first edition, leather bound volume that had been imported from the US at some time. A result of one of my indulgent sojorns to Hay-on-Wye, it's *almost* too nice to read with BP stained fingers.
I think I will be upgrading to the fourth edition as soon as I can convince the financial approval commitee [ie: Mrs RegimentalPyro] that spending ?80 on a copy of a book I've already got makes sound financial sense
