Does anyone know tell me that the powder of charcoal added NaClO3 to produce charcoal incense burning tablet.
Maybe the pill does not add NaClO3 but certainly something which causes a reaction similar to that caused NaClO3. If anyone has experience with charcoal incense burning tablets would be very helped me with information about components that are added to the charcoal powder.
Thanks to the help in advance.

Hi dule, welcome to the forum.

The additives commonly used are saltpetre (potassium nitrate) or Chilie saltpetre (sodium nitrate) - they're also used in cigarettes to sustain combustion.

As a starting point for experimentation, you might try a mix of equal parts by weight of charcoal, potassium nitrate and incense. An aqueous binder could be added and the mix pressed to form a tablet.

Adding more potassium nitrate will speed up the burn, reducing it will slow things down.
