Valentine's Day is Feb. 14, just a week away. Almost everyone has a great Valentine's Day story or two (be it a "best ever" or a "worst ever" - feel free to share either way), and some people start planning for it months in advance. And then of course, there are those who think of Valentine's as just another Hallmark Holiday, used to separate their money from their wallets... Valentine's Day is about Romance and speaking as a man most of us are not very good at it. I always get bit jumpy when it nears in case I forget. A few years back I forgot and on that particular morning she seemed somewhat moody. I needed to go to the local diy store so I thought I would get out of the way, and whilst I was there I spotted a dust pan and brush on offer, seeing as I broke the old one I bought it thinking it would cheer her up .I went home and said to her I bought you a present and as I passed over the bag her face lit up. I thought that was easy and then she opened the bag- you can guess the rest !

Lets not forget that Valentine's day also happens to be Chinese New Year, giving us the opportunity to set off fireworks later than usual.....
