Every two years, elections are held for the executive committee of the UKPS. The body that runs and steers the UKPS. This is such a year.

The ballot is held by post and all members will be sent a voting paper, or if no contests are required, a list of those appointed will be sent.

This year there will be some changes.

This is the list so far.


Elected positions:



Chairman and CEO – Richard Harwood
Vice Chair - Phil Dunford
Treasurer – Joseph Matthews - (Brightstar)
Safety Officer – Gareth Barnes – (Digger)



We have not yet heard if Galon Broner wishes to stand for treasurer again. If he does there will be an election for the treasurers position.

Appointed positions (appointed by the Executive Committee)

Company Secretary – Philip Cooper – (Cooperman)
Membership Secretary - Chris Dunford


Any MEMBER of the UKPS (ie current paid up member – not just a user of the forum) over the age of 18 is entitled to stand for any of the elected positions as long as they are proposed by another member. The outcome is by simple majority, with the Chairman having a casting vote.

This list will be open until Sunday 14^th February if anyone wants to try their luck. Please send your name and the name of the person proposing you (and the position you are applying for) to Phil Cooper (Cooperman435), the UKPS Company Secretary.
