On a very personal level I would like to thank several forum members for the fantastic welcome they have given me in the UK, and the great generosity that they have displayed in helping me attend events and get me up off my feet on a material level.

- Arthur Brown
- Pyromaniac303
- Portfire
- Helix
- Fflach
- Cooperman435
- Digger

I look forward to the rest of my stay in the UK, which I'm sure will be much improved due to this community :)

Our saviours : In the ninth century, a team of Chinese alchemists trying to synthesize an "elixir of immortality" from saltpeter, sulfur, realgar, and dried honey instead invented gunpowder.

Something very special happened Saturday. A gathering of like minded people from all walks of life all with a common bond, the love of pyrotechnics.
From the theorist chemists, firework historians, talented firework producers, the young with their enthusiasm and the larger than life characters.
A brilliant day and judging by numbers quite a few more people than last time.

Another brilliant AGM event, thanks to all those involved in making it happen!

Wilf's talk was fascinating, and his great book is now providing more tales of adventures in pyro.

Paul and Brian's talks were also really interesting, would be great to see the slides/notes from both on the forum/website somewhere as there was a lot of info to take in.

Looking forward to more events soon.
