I bought most of my mortars from a fellow Swedish amateur pyrotechnician. They are very good but have some odd calibres.

Two of them are supposedly 3½" or more precise 89 mm inner diameter.

Does anyone know what size an unpasted 4" shell is? If it's less than 89 mm maybe I could use a it in the so called 3½" mortars with a thin pasting.

I find 96.25 across a 4" plastic hemi so sadly too big for your tube. (plastic hemis are fired unpasted!)

Perhaps get a piece of wooden plug made and build either cylinder shells or bag mines. Make them the right size for your tubes!

You could always make canister shells. Since the casings are hand rolled, you can make them whatever size you want.
