We shot this show last weekend choreographed with Finale Fireworks, this is a video of the simulation and the actual real life show. I like it because we can go back and watch and see where we made mistakes in the set up and what did not fire. We are holding another contest where the winning simulation in Finale will be fired at the 2010 PGI convention in the USA, with credit being given to the person who designs the show. You can go HERE to get information on Finale software. Enjoy the video! http://www.youtube.c...3ZXxr8hozc&hd=1

Here is the HD video someone shot and posted on YouTube, fast forward to the 1:40 mark for the beginning of the show they did not edit out the dead air before the show started.

Very interesting to see and shows how close the sim gets to the real thing in some areas and is a world apart in others. Some effects in reality are probably weeker than the Finale Version, but it is a great tool to use and prove it works. I have the pro version of well and designed a hand fire cat3 show on it, coding all the cat3 cakes and it is similar but not as close as yours. Well done.

Thanks Nick! This is the first time, to my knowledge anything like this has been done. I do all of the simulations for Dominator Fireworks in Finale and have learned a great deal from this show. I have already gone back and started making improvements in them to get them as close to real world as possible. If anyone has any questions about simulations I have hundreds of hours in it and glad to help!

Ed
