What do people think of Night Star's products? I've had quite a few of their pieces over the last few years as my local seasonal shop sells them and I've been pretty pleased with them. I start to wonder whether I'm the only one that buys them as you barely read anything about them on firework forums. A lot of their products look very similar to Bright Star's products and I wondered whether they might be linked in some way. They do a large fountain which is very similar to Kimbolton's Mammoth Cone.

Yeah I've heard of them before and seen them mentioned a few times, not sure if any shops near me have ever stocked them. Think they did a similar 16 shot cake to Bright Star's Proton Bomb at one point.

They still do a 16 shot cake called Proton Bomb. I have actually bought one this year, but this is the first time I've had it. A fair few of their products look like Bright Star's but with slightly different artwork, hence my wondering whether they were in some way connected.

I'm suprised at that, what's it like? Does it seem like an old one, lucky if it is!

Not sure what it's like yet as I'm not firing it until my display (which is Nov 7th this year, weather permitting) but it's unlikely it's an old one as the shop had lots and it's listed on their website still: third from bottom here

Beware the old label art work and the new low volume performance. The post 2006 Bright Star 16 shot Proton Bomb being a very good example (comets with crackles).
However in saying that the new Bright Star Atom Bomb is making up for this a bit this year .

If you want to check if an item is old reg then look for 2006 or earlier in the bottom left or right corner of the firework description panel.
