Do the admin staff have any issue with me posting a PDF file containing Pyro formulas, that i found on the web?

I can email said PDF for screening if required

Nothing wrong with posting formula - it's what you do with them!

I think it would be a good idea, out of respect to those who created the formulas, and who compiled their names, to give them as much credit as possible.

That's the general courtesy guideline for posting formulas. Sharing is caring, but give credit when due.

Right, so how do I go about posting a file on the forum? It's not a big file

If someone would like to email me, I'll be happy to forward the file, I'm not great with technical things

If you want to make the file available to a wider pyro audience you could always upload it to the Pyrobin:

Please also remember that a formula isn't the only info that a maker needs, often the instructions and mesh sizes are the secret of the product.

Ahhh, well seeing as im a complete noob to all this, i was wondering what mesh screening was all about. I thought the fine the better. I was looking at the fire "ala creamer" can, and apparently you need a coarse BP. What do i add to my BP to make it stick together in "clumps"? Dextrin?

Mesh is just that a woven wire cloth with assorted numbers of wires per inch -that's the mesh size! Now there are standards for the wire diameter for each mesh size, which leads to standards for the free hole through which things can pass. The mesh cloths are made usually into sieves of a convenient size.

The rate of reaction is very dependent on the particle size, smaller is faster!
Read all the threads on BP for info on the science, and art of BP. Read threads here (UKPS forum) and on APC forum and wherever else you find good info.

That would be a pdf archive of Wouter Visser's database. For the most part the formulas should be reliable, but like everything take it with a grain of salt.

I would advise against using anything with pyroguide listed as the source. It's not the same pyroguide website/forum that is currently on the internet.
