I went into Matalan yesterday and they had no knowledge of the BrightSpark system :-( They did sell the Launch Kontrol system and replacement E-Fuses but not the BrightSpark ones. Very frustrating. I will keep an eye out on eBay and I've also found this website that looks as though they do them but not sure when it was last updated. I found another website that was selling the packs of replacement E-fuses for about £9.99 for 5 but charged £25 p&p so I instantly disregarded that option.
Anyone know why the second fuse might not have ignited? I looked at the clips afterwards and the second one just looked as though it never went off (still yellow wire inside). I really hope it was just a dodgy clip and not a problem with the system itself. Well, I'll find out on Sunday I guess - if it doesn't light the second firework in the sequence again then I'll take the system back to the shop (which, as far as I could tell, doesn't sell the refill packs).

Got it working at last. Batteries were flat as a pancake and more, closer look they had split. So a fresh set and it looked more alive. Testing it a bit you need to make sure you have a good clear view of the reciver and nothing in the way of it, ie grass as i had 1st time.
It's been used on my 2mm, 3mm visco and 3mm fast fuse.
Im now toying with an idea of how to make the unit of more use.
I've had it apart, dead easy.
It runs on 4.5v (3 x 1.5v)
It uses these sodding e-clips and ribbon cable and crunches down on the cable.

There bare wire/free wire.
So i looked around, for a termination means to the PCB. Its going to need a bit of extension from the pcb to the new termination block.
I found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item5640ca7c23
Only down side is that they come in as a pair of 4, the unit does 5, but you could wire extras in i guess.
What do you guys think then? It'll offer the unit up to a lot more, reduce the costs, and cost less than £5 to make the mod and this is inc a new case for it, take away sandwich box will do the job, or a abs box off ebay as well.
