I once saw a white composition between two colors on around star as a dark composition, can this be some kind of composition containing benzoate.

I once saw a white composition between two colors on around star as a dark composition, can this be some kind of composition containing benzoate.
Hi Joe and welcome to the forum.
Maybe... Of the classic Shimizu Dark Relay compositions, one uses charcoal as the main fuel so would appear dark grey in the cut through star, the other uses red gum and would be a light red so it might appear white. I'm sure benzoates could be made to work and would probably be cheaper than red gum.
