Is there anything you're making other than flash out of this currently hypothetical magnesium powder?

Not a good start to your posting history I'm afraid, PLEASE review the forum at length and you should see why I hope no one points you to a vendor for this yet.

mg powder has been or will be made illegal to transport around the middle of this year someone could varify. if you do find it the source is questionable to say the least.
do plenty of research on safety before you choose to hurt yourself and you will find that mg is rarely used by serious pyro's in f comps because of its auto/ignition properties around humidity/friction/static/shock, mixing it with hygroscopic kno3 is just asking for it, then there's self confinement in small quantity. its very sensitive and unstable to use regularly and has a bad reputation.
new to pyro, no one would help you make flash on any forum worldwide for your own safety.
sorry if this sounds like a rant but there are different routes into this hobby and challenging projects that will satisfy you more.

dan.

WillDee i seriously suggest you make your self a hot drink and have a read through this forum on the subject. If this is your start in pyrotechnics and you wish to deal with flash your hobby will be over very soon and most probably your life too!!

i dont mean to sound negative or aggressive to you but this isnt baking cakes its a highly dangerous hobby and i did allmost a year of reading pyro books and understang chemical formula before i even made a batch of bp !! DO SOME READING AND BE SENSIBLE Posted Image

You could do worse than have a look at the skylighter website, there are dozens or even hundreds of little projects and articles on there eg

Fountains

Index

They also did an ebook - search for turbo pyro, I think it is a free download, it's certainly around in hyperspace.
