I thought this might be of interest to some of you.
One of our customers took some SEM (scanning electron microscope) photos of our two iron fillings products and were kind enough to copy them back to us with permission to share.

Great photos indeed!
I've recently purchased this digital microscope myself:
VEHO 400X Digital
Even though it's not that professional I can get some similar photos.
The microscopic world is amazing! Even a mousepad... you can see all the fibers. It's just amazing
Mine can't do the 2.00 K X close up though as this one goes "only" to 400 X.
Oh well, 400 X is nice enough for me and it was pretty cheap @ £40
