Here`s an advertisment I ve come across from the 1940`s, anyone for making these?, there`s even a recipe for the rocket motor (which I believe may have come from Brock`s).

Interesting to see what they thought they could get away with back then, I wonder how many actualy tried to make that motor and had one fly.
Our saviours : In the ninth century, a team of Chinese alchemists trying to synthesize an "elixir of immortality" from saltpeter, sulfur, realgar, and dried honey instead invented gunpowder.

Can you imagine how exciting it would have been to be able to buy this and experiment,.....perhaps it might have been successful if model makers built a ramp with a rail to launch it, that said, and given the year of publication (1946), I wonder if the german `V` rockets had some influence on its design? also makes me wonder if Brock`s were ever given the model to experiment with before selling a motor?

Back when we had shillings i used to play with jetex motors quite a lot with gliders.
ISTR that i built one of those although it did not fly that well, cg was a bit tricky as the propellant got burnt up.
