Hi,

Is there anyone in the Gravesend area who is in to pyrotechnics(in any form) as a pastime?

Being the only person I know who is actually in to pyrotechnics can be a little bit dull on occasion.

Other interests include:

Building and flying RC aircraft
Anything R/C
FPV flying
Electronic and mechanical engineering
Lasers amongst other things

And any combination of the above.

It's definitely looking that way!

I am amazed that this forum exists, I am of course very happy that it does.

I just get funny looks when I try to involve 'normal' people in something I'm trying to do.. Sending helium balloons to the edge of space, creating large underwater explosions, launching multi-stage rockets with inboard cameras.. I just wasn't in to playing football with all the other boys, there were far more interesting things to do like making gokarts and fireworks.

The projects have just gotten more advanced as the years have gone on.

Hi there, welcome to the forum. We used to have a map of forum members but I'm sure there will be a few members around the London area. Some of us members travel for hours just to say hello to people that have the same interests and with the Ukps AGM coming up soon it would be a great time to meet people.

I have a friend up in Burton who has more or less the same interests but it's a good 4 hours away, I was hoping to find someone 15-20 minutes away who was up for doing some crazy stuff.

That would be an area inside of a triangle between Sevenoaks, Dartford and Gillingham.
