Over the past few months, I've given a couple of pointers to a Phd Student who has been making a film about fireworks.

She's posted the final result. It's very professional and if you have half an hour to spare, well worth a look:

Very good film that, like a history lesson, Maybe one day we may see a return to British firework manufacture as prices keep increasing in China.

Yes I enjoyed that. She's done an excellent job. Really enjoyed Allan Wells and the 75 year old sparkler. It looked better than some I bought from JTF this year and I bet any money it smelt better too!

It's also crashed for me at 12 minutes. From what I saw it is excellent. Can she Youtube it or is that not possible?

I'll let her know, although, it works fine for me...

Yes I think the 'industry will be gone in 15 years' is a bit pessimistic. As discussed on here before, it's quite possible that manufacture may grow again - lets hope so anyway!

Brilliant video, I am glad I have a job still designing the fireworks, I hope manufacturing gets brought back to the UK, but it doesn't seem like that will happen any time soon with cheap labour in china. Such a shame to say the least
