Hello all,

As some of you may be aware, I am in the process of collecting together materials for a book about the history of Standard Fireworks. I am hoping to gather together photographs, label artwork, memoirs from former employees, and just about anything else I can uncover.

I'm looking for offers of help (particularly donations of digital or printed photographs, scans of articles, or similar). Would anyone be interested in contributing content or even becoming involved with the project?

All contributors will of course be fully attributed. As and when the book is published, any profits will be donated to the UK Pyrotechnics Society.

My aim is to see just how much can be uncovered. I am hopeful the finished book will be a fascinating read!

There is so much out there to be uncovered, it just needs piecing together.

For starters, I don't suppose anyone has a larger copy of the photo attached do they?

Richard

I would suggest that John Bennett of the Fireworks Journal would be a good point of enquiry as to where to gather some pictures and info.
