Thanks to all those that arranged the agm. The talks and demos were great, all very interesting.

Good luck to the new management team. I am looking forward to seeing some great events this year.

Thanks to all those that helped set up the display and clear up afterwards.

Finally thanks to everyone that turned u and made it a great day.

P.S. is someone going to post up some videos of the day on the tube?

Phew that was close.

And a very big thank you to you too Digger & Sarah.

Brilliant display, slick artistic and professional. One the the best we have ever done. Many thanks to Malcolm for his lovely traditional set piece & to Bob Twells for the donation & set up of extra fireworks.

Superb!

All the talks were filmed, so pending approval by the individual speakers they will go up in the next couple of weeks (it takes ages to get all the footage and audio imported, synced and rendered, plus I'm off to Valencia in 2 days!).

I'll try and get the display video up before then, as that doesn't need any editing or anyone's approval.

I don't think I can put the photos on the UKPS page as an album but I will put them on my facebook page.

I had a wonderful day, really proud to be a member of the UKPS. It was most definitely a mile stone day for the UKPS and it's members in all that has been achieved.

All the hard work over the years is finally coming to fruition.

A brilliant day again! Thank you to everyone who made it happen. And what absolutely awesome news from Wayne, who deserves maximum Kudos for all the work he's put in without which the '100g rule' and our hobby would be gone.  We will very shortly have a legal framework to work in!!  I've heard Wayne say it many times that the UKPS has been met with professionalism and genuine helpfulness by the powers that be and I feel that should be recognised as well for without that the outcome could have been entirely different.

Yes the 100g rule and the possibility of a poisons and precursors licence prove that the UK legislature accept pyro as a legitimate hobby. We all now have to accept that trust and prove that we are worth it. Good pyro, done safely and within the law, and where possible published.
