Does anyone know who did the pyro for the Secret Garden Party festival on Saturday just gone (26th July)?

I'm guessing a few companies were involved, as it was an absolutely brilliantly choreographed showcase of mixed media that worked really well together. Some great pyro on the lake, with many flame projectors, approx 100 fire jugglers and poi performers on the lake front, video projection onto water spray and trees, and a microlight dropping thousands of led lights on little toy helicpoters things that floated down out of nowhere. Absolutely amazing!

The following day also had two planes doing signwriting in the sky with normal smoke, but also and gerbs, mines and LED strip lights attached to them, which I've never seen before.

Whoever put it all together deserves some major kudos!

I've also asked on UKFR and found that this company were responsible for the "LED drop" part...

There could be issues as it's illegal in the UK to drop things from planes (inc choppers)

Yes it was in the UK. No idea about the legality, I assume they'd have checked all that, it looked bloody brilliant though!

Just had a quick read of CAA regs and it can be done with their approval. There are several things that can be dropped legally without special permission too, although this wouldn't be one of them.
