Following the problems reported by some forum members in getting A&K for BP for home pyro, a scheme of competence training and assessment is being developed and will be launched during the afternoon after the 2015 AGM .
Currently this is still being developed. I expect it to be expensive, a long day and need many hours private study and preparation at home (inert obviously)
The initial participants will be chosen from interested society members. It's likely that society membership will be an initial condition for subsequent courses.
I'm closing this post as there is no point in conversation about something that is still evolving, the first publication will be at the AGM.
This course will assist in proving competence. Other conditions are already clearly in place for applicants for A&K which will still need to be met.
Any subsequent posts will be in the member's section.
