Nice place you have here folks.

I did look for an introductions thread but either theres not one or I'm being daft!

Anyway, i'm dodger/dodge. Located in sunny south wales, amateur pyro since my distant youth.

Hopefully I'll be able to make some worthwhile contributions to the forum in addition to learning from the vast accumalation of knowledge here too.

Anyway pleased to be here.

Best Regards, dodge

Thankyou Arthur, Rip and gonks.

I'm reading as much as time permits but being a single parent of 2 means time is limited.

A couple of quick q's for your goodselves,

Does the society welcome amateur experimenters? Assuming they show appropriate sense and respect regards the various subjects open too discussion obviously?

Second, how to I go about getting membership? I did look for a subscription option or subbies area..

I can see alot of content is unavailable to public members like myself so assume there is a subscription process??

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Very best regards

Gaz

1.) Yes, that is one of the things the society stands for. You will need to ensure that you comply with the appropriate legislation, on which there has been extensive discussion on this site.

2.) http://www.pyrosociety.org.uk/join/

3.) See 2

Hope that helps

Welcome Dodge. Please do join the society if you want to support the society. But don't join just to see lots of content in the members forum, there isn't very much there  and it's been mostly 'political' lately :-)
