I am preparing to classify electric igniters and, at the same time, will be considering the issue of CE marking.

I haven't yet looked into this properly, this forum is the first port of call. Any comments or ideas would, as always, be appreciated and valued.

Production is certificated to EN ISO 9001:2001 and igniters are CE Mark compliant - CE Mark registration numbers 1453 and 1395.

Thanks for that Malcolm. I know they can be CE approved but want to know if there is an immediate legal requirement for this or, if there is breathing space until 2017 with Other Articles
