Hope nobody here minds about a bit of advertising so long as its related, I've got a large pictorial on my site on how to make BP rockets, and a video of the exact rocket made in the tutorial, to show exactly what you're making. Thought it could be of use to a beginner.

Interesting that you can get away with such a long core while using milled 15:3:2 powder.

In that photo of your meal the powder looks tan rather than grey or black, what kind of charcoal are you using?

What do I need to view some of your videos? On a couple such as the black match and your ball mill it trys to download a codec but fails. I then get sound an no video. Im pretty sure I have the latest version or at least very recent version of windows media player.

Chaz appears to use Windows Media Video 9 DMOs for those two while the other videos are WMV 8.

Well my videos are fixed thanks. Also I must agree the quality of your videos is definetly very good. oh yeh and your fireworks are quite impressive :) I may try making one of your rockets once I have a ball mill set up and stuff. In fact I think I might just order one online right now from manchester minerals. Student loan!!

Wow, thanks for all the feedback!

I'm not sure how much of a payload it can manage. I tried making a rather large filmcan shell and attaching that, the total weight came to 95g (usually my engines are around 30g) and it didnt get off the ground. It was quite amusing however because you realise while the engine is burning that at any moment the shell is gonna blow! I was amazed at how clean the break was, too bad it wasnt in the air. :(

I've got a polumna rocket ready, see here and here for pics. Theres a video on the videos section of the polumna on the ground, this is just a larger version of one of those rigged up to a rocket. No stars or anything. I tried it sunday night, but my crappy blackmatch failed. I might try it again tonight.

And I'm sure you're wondering why the hell the polumna is upsidedown, its because when you make them the fuse comes out at one of the corners of the triangle, so I couldent put it the other way around.

Theres a page in the 'other content' area on my camera.

Again, thanks for all the feedback. Now get clickin' those ads! ;) (not the white ones, theyre placeholders if you like, because google hasnt got any ads relevant to the stuff on the page)

It won?t get straight into the iar, so hold your distance :D A ball or tube on top would be much better.
