Hey guys, I'm doing my buddies' timemachine effects for a spanish project. Its being filmed and I was asked to do some pyrotechnic effects for the timemachine. The people that will be in the project would be relatively close to the pyrotechnics. Got any suggestions? I was thinking along the lines of tons of smoke clouds and flashes. Also I have about a week to do this all so quick projects only.

I'd go with a whole bunch of electric fault simulators, some strobe pots and smoke plume thingies. And mabye a few exotic flash pots, sounds like a fun project.

Or maybe not. If this is a 'School' project then I really dont think they will allow that.

You can do simple but effective with smoke (from a liquid based smoke machine / fogger) and strobe lights / spotlights (with couloured gels if needed) etc.

Aah, right. Cancel the flash pots then Adam's right about the hazer & strobe - looks great together. Multiple strobes (few coloured ones..) going off at different rates should work. I still think a few tiny fault simulators would be a bonus if safety allows it (which it probably wont)

Well its pretty slack. The school doesnt really care much about anything really, they all ready have a bunch of minors drunk and the school (well more importantly the teacher) doesnt really care. As long as its in Spanish hahahah. So considering this is really a welfare project, I was thinking also a string/strings of mighty mites. If only I could get my hands on some strobe lights but plus this is also on a beach so its kind of hard to get a plug there...
