I've recently purchased a cavity pump from Wolter's and pumped myself a bunch of Chrysanthemum #6 base stars. Any suggestions for some compositions to fill the cavity with?
Artistic merit is what I am really looking for, but I am anything but artistic!
Considering it is going to leave a fairly soft orange tail I'd say organic colour composition would work well, I was thinking blue, but maybe there is a better colour? Purple? Something contrasting with the orange.
Also, what about a glitter base star and a metallic colour insert? Anyone done this before? I've tried it the hard way in the past (drilled out a comet) and had problems matching the burn rates of the compositions.

Green of course.. easy and should be easily distinguishable from the tail.

Well then, if you can find a good organic purple, I'd go with that (and you can share the formula, too :-) ) I recently saw some purple/orange double hemisphere shells (don't you just love it when you're sitting in a field, and out of the blue, someone starts firing a huge display nearby) - the colours complemented each other perfectly.

Just added my two favourite purple organic comps in the composition thread.
