Yeah, I tried it from a stargun (12mm pumped star). It was a great color, too. Burns quite fast, too. But priming is an important factor. I would prime it with an alcohol/red gum/bp prime. So no KNO3 dissolves into the star and destroys the colour.

Excelent, will try that out. If i have time i will cut a load of 1/4in and fire from a 3 inch can shell or 3 inch spherical peony shell. Will post the vids of course :D Cheers for the prime tip

Better try it in small ammounts before :D Afterwards the color doesn?t impress you and then you say its my fault! :)

So better be on the safe side...


EDIT: Shot another test star of this comp recently. I have to admit. This is one of the clearest and most beautiful reds I have seen so far. It might go a bit to the pinkish side, but the white-content is so low that it doesn?t matter. I have found my favourite color!

I?m crazy about that color :P
