13-0-46 NPK is almost pure KNO3. Pure KNO3 will be more around 13.6-0-46, but 13-0-46 is pure enough. Since it is fertilizer grade, it will contain 1.5% of non-baking agents such as calcium carbonate ? but those will not affect performance much. You will need to properly mill it ? the KNO3 is made into perils ? and the surface of this perils contain most of the 1.5% which are not KNO3. Properly milling it brings out excellent quality KNO3.
