The forums have been upgraded to the new version of Invision. Loads of new features, a new look, and much more!

Any problems with anything, please post under the technical issues forum.

Nice work ;) . Have played with this software myself. The whole thing looks quite daunting at first because of all the options but I am stating to get my head around it. Quick question, how do you turn fast reply on in the ACP?

Hello Stu,

Daunting is not the word! The admin control panel is like the f**king tardis! It's so big Dr. Who would get lost in there...

Anyway, Quick reply:

Goto:
Forum control > Manage forums > (Choose forum) > Settings > Postable Forum Settings > "Turn on the Quick Reply Box?"

Hope you find it :)

The trial version is unlimited and fully functional, but there is always the option of buying a lifetime licence for around ?100, which gives access to technical support etc.

I am liking it much better so far even though I have only been on in minutes! Mainly because other forums for different topics have same setup.

Was the option to change time zones available in the old setup as well? I never found it :D

The forum has been upgraded again, any problems you may experience are likely to be to do with your browser or ISP cache. Deleting these files and refreshing the page should fix it.

Cheers

The forum has just been upgraded to Invision 2.1.0 Final. There are some elegant new features to be discovered, so happy hunting.

Lighten up broadsword! It's hardly spam, just a little joke! There are far worse offenders I can think of!

Made me smile anyway.

Thanks Richard, but fair comment Broadsword. That's the problem of being new, lots of old stuff to read and trying to resist the odd comment.

Just out of curiousity, is there a way to delete one's own posts? I have looked around the edit screen, but didn't see anything. Say for instance you reply to the wrong thread, or reply without seeing there are several replies on the next page or something. I have never seen a forum without this option. It really helps to keep the forum free of accidental posts.
