Great work! Drop me a PM with their contact details and I'll post some out to them.
I distributed a few leaflets to some local retailers, but haven't had chance to on the same scale I did last year. -

Yes you're right, the display was done under fuse-fireworks insurance. I received my certificate too today, congratulations to everyone that passed! -

I have found 2-4 strands of black match encased thoroughly in parcel tape does the trick, as it has some of the confinement of quickmátch but not quite as fast or as liable to come loose from its fixings. Unless very well fixed, commercial quickmatch can jolt and rip itself away from the lance tubes. Alternatively you can pull some of the cores out of the blackmatch to tame it a little. -

I'll send illuminate an email in the next few days to remind them and see if I can find out when everyone is likely to receive them.
I can assure you there was just over £400 worth of cat4 there including insurance. There was probably more than £50 worth of ignitors, but I had those so they didn't come out of the budget. I paid the £100 venue hire and food etc myself, and half the fireworks. Any donations I got exceeding this went into the charity fund which was split between Nottingham QMC, teenage cancer trust and Sheffield children's hospital cancer charity (PACT). -

Arthur Brown, on 06 October 2011 - 06:01 PM, said:What dress code applies in this golf club?
As it is a venue I'm hiring for the 2 days, no dress code applies. There will be no one stood at the door to stop you walking in with overalls on! As a guide, the event on the Saturday will be smart casual dress if anyone feels the need to bring a spare set of clothes to change in to, but it isn't necessary as its a fairly informal event.
As for the Sunday course, there is no dress code either, though Sunday Lunch will be served should you want it so we may enter the restaurant area with other members of the general public.
