    so,

    has anyone in the uk heard of this,

    the usual 70/30 made using it, apparently wont ignite unconfined, supposedly
    helping to make salute manufacture "safer"

  2. old ici /nobels explosive photos in ardeer scotland

    hope everyone had a good xmas,

    i just came across an interesting source of photos of ici nobels division in scotland.
    although some photos are on line the ones i was interested in (manufacture of fuseheads / dipping etc) are paid for items.
    if anyone has copies i would be intersted in seeing them

  4. alternative composition for fireball "lifters"

    just came across this in my web surfing.

    no personal experience with this composition, but its based around an old rocket comp.

    instead of blackpowder to ignite fireballs in a mortar, it seems they use ZINKIT
    ZINC 75%
    SULPHUR 25%

    this sounds really stupid but i have recently registered on the ukfr site and just tried to post my first post/reply

    BUT i cant seem to find out how to contact the administrator to say it wont let me post

    i can find no link at all.................i must be blind...........

    i'm sure someone on here can help, being members of both forums
