  1. Selection of rare chemicals, tubes & 4" Shell parts for sale.

    Haveing a clear out, all the chemicals are from Skylighter.

    Chemicals (technical quality): (Everything is priced at £10 / lb + Shipping) If you're looking to buy more than 2lb total then price is negotiable.
    Calcium silicide - 1 lb
    Copper (II) oxychloride - 1 lb
    Chlorowax - 2 lbs
    Dechlorane - 4 lbs
    Grog 2 lbs
    Hexachloroethane - 2 lbs
    Lactose - 2 lbs
    Strontium sulfate, fine - 1 lb
    Shellac 120 mesh - 3 lbs
    Saran resin - 2 lbs
    Sodium bicarbonate 5 lbs
    Sodium oxalate - 3 lbs
    Sodium silicate - 1 quart
    Sodium salicylate - 7 lbs
    Sodium benzoate - 25 lbs POA will need to check shipping etc if interest for this one. , obviously will sell for less than £10/lb
    Star cores - molecular sieves - 5 lbs
    Ultramarine - 1 lb
    Vinsol resin - 1 lb

    Pyro misc.

    Cardboard tubes - parallel wound, spolettes, 8oz, 1 and 2 lb rocket tubes, tubes suitable for roman candles, shell inserts - hummers, whistles, reports etc. Cups for cherry bombs etc Probably 200-300+ altogether, many are 3 foot long so they can be cut to suit.
    I have not actually worked out what is in the tube boxes, If anyone wants to take a gamble I'll sell the lot for £80 including delivery, otherwise I'll get back to this in a week or so with each item itemised.



    4” Plastic shell components (spherical), 20 complete sets. £2 each.

    A note on the publications: I know pyro is a very specialist subject, and so a lot of the book covering the topic are published on the cheap, often using a DIY setup, so may books come out in comb binders or glued soft backs. I purchased all these books myself and did not run off any copies, but it is beyond me to know if any of these were illegally copied, if anyone knows for sure any of these advertised as spiral bound of soft bound were never sold by the author / publisher in this format please let me know and I'll delete it from this sale.

    I thought this might be of interest to some of you.

    One of our customers took some SEM (scanning electron microscope) photos of our two iron fillings products and were kind enough to copy them back to us with permission to share.
