I have been keeping my chemicals in polystyrene fish boxes.
The rational for this is this;
They are very moisture and water proof. They couldn't stand being submerged but they could easily by sprayed down with a hosepipe and stay dry inside.
They will keep the chemicals cooler and at a more even temperature in the heat of the summer. They are stored in a garden shed which gets pretty hot.
I know of course that polystyrene with burn if set alight.
Have I made a bad decision?
I have heard of plastic tubs with a rubber seals but I dont want to change unless the containers are unsafe. They make very useful storage boxes. Light roomy stackable rectangles with easy lids.

Where would you buy a dangerous chemicals cabinet? How would the authorities prefer that these things are stored?
