This is quite cool.

Quote from the linked page:

This is a video I made for my song entitled "The Sad Song". The video was created entirely using 15 second jpg movies from my little Nikon Coolpix 775 still camera, reconstructed in AfterEffects. I hope you enjoy the video and the music, and if you'd like to hear more, or to download an mp3 version of the song, please check out my music at the following url:

For me it's a faded cherry Gibson SG (left handed) running through a Marshall JCM2000 DSL100. I just LOVE SG's, and now that Gibson are making the twin neck for us southpaws I think a little word/grovelling to the better half is on the cards!

P.S. A curse on all those who think first of "Stairway to Heaven".
A blessing on all those who think first of "Hotel California".
Watch the Live video if you don't know what I mean.
If in doubt BANG OUT!

Guitar players... dime a dozen! :D

Current Guitar Gear:

-Ibanez RG-570
-Boss GX-700 Processor
-Peavey EVH 5150 half-stack (Insane amounts of gain!)

Used to have and should be shot for selling:

-Jackson "King V" with a very unique paint job
-Hiwatt 100 watt half-stack (I almost cry when I see what they're worth now!!!)

I play bass and do a lot of MIDI programming as well.

OK, I'm resurrecting this thread. I have an update!

Also, there have surely got to be some new members who would like to contribute?

For those metal heads in our midst, please check out me bands' new website:

www.enginesofarmageddon.com

For those non-metallers, please do check it out but be forewarned – some of the tunes are a little on the heavy side...

Feel free to pass the link around if you like it - if we get famous I have big plans involving stage pyrotechnics :D

Up until then I'm working on modifying a LeMaitre electric flasher to shoot fireballs out the end of the neck. It will also burn smoke cookies but I'm concentrating on the fireballs for now :P

I seem to somehow have missed this entire thread from the start. I strangle guitar, harmonica and I am learning mandolin, better get on while I still have all my fingers left.

I have a Yamaha acoustic, Crafter 12 string acoustic, Ibanez electric jazz archtop and a Hohner classical, also a Stagg electric mandolin.
Organisation is a wonderful trait in others

That's quite an impressive selection there. I love the idea of an electric mandolin.... distortion?
