The propellant is not a bad propellant – and both the USA military and NASA have researched it widely. Some excellent articles are available on the subject – and some very strong rockets were built using it.
As far as I can recall, the main problem is that Zinc/Sulphur burn is almost impossible to control, therefore accurate calculation that are required for purposeful targeting are virtually impossible and it was abounded.

I tried once more to make that composition but nothing happened again.I had about 95grams of this composition(it wasn't mixed well) and i added some 5 teaspoons of Potassium Nitrate.It burnt slowly but with a quite good colour.I would like you to inform me if these composition is dangerous.It is just KNO3-Zn-S.Thank you
