Personally I wouldn't, it's a risk you take when you goto watch these big displays. Im sure theres disclaimers around and about!

But all firework companies have heafty insurance to cover this eventuality.

I know I would sue if it were my children.
And why would you sue exactly? Would it make you feel better like you just recieved some justice for a totally freak accident that may not have been anyones fault?

I am sure that the matter will be dealt with appropriately by the various parties involved and their insurers.
