Well there are going to be a few changes. Cakes will have narrower bores soon as well.

Whoppa and Polaris like rockets-how good are they?

Exactly what are the UN trying to do and/or are setting out to achieve with all these changes?Well there are going to be a few changes. Cakes will have narrower bores soon as well.
It sounds like
a they deliberately want to spoil fireworks for everybody by,
b reducing sizes of pyro making them a lot smaller and tamer for consumers and,
c finally say what consumers can and can't have and enjoy/let off.
If that is definately the case (and it certainly sounds that way to me) then the UN should;
i firstly withdraw from fireworks altogether
ii and secondly let manufacturers control themselves and their own affairs!
Seems like the UN want to spoil everyone's fun, restrict what consumer fireworks we can and can't enjoy and/or use and be a party pooper to boot! The UN, when it comes to fireworks, are fast becoming the biggest killjoys on the planet.

Richard: Please stop torturing us with this information! if I find out they're going to introduce one more restriction I swear I'll cry!
I think I'm going to save up a grand and go down to my local supplier and stock up. Just buy all the stuff that will be going off the market so that I have a stock of it.
